"Could have been a little less sweet and romantic"

Behind this intriguing name hides the Spanish keyboardplayer Salva Moreno. He creates a melodic form of electronic music in which fine synthesizersounds and a lot of solos (amongst others on piano) are the central ingredients. If I hear the titletrack I have the feeling a little that I have landed in the eighties, especially in case of rhythm. By the way, romance has an important place on this album ...
... A lot of tracks namely have a rather positive atmosphere. Sometimes Moreno has inventive moments like in The Garden Of Strange beings. At other times (Song Of The Living Night, The Sorcery, The Forge) the music is somewhat classic and there seems a slight influence from the music of Serge Blenner. Somewhat different is Morning Light, a vocal piece with the voice of Priscilla Hernandez. All in all this is a nice synthesizer album, especially the classical tracks, but now and then the music could have been a little less sweet and romantic.
